Microblading is not for everyone. There are many factors that can affect the results of microblading and there are certain conditions in which microblading should not be performed. If you have any health/ skin conditions or taking medication and after reading this you believe you are a candidate for micoblading, please write your condition or medication when booking your appointment.
*You must be over the age of 18. If you are 16 or 17 you can get microblading with your parents notarized permission and your parents need to be present during the procedure. (Please contact me to obtain the form)
Microblading is not for pregnant or nursing women. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this please contact me.
Skin conditions: If you have any skin conditions over the eyebrows including acne or if you are currently under medication for a facial skin condition microblading is not for you. If you are under treatment you need to wait at least 4 month after the treatment. Microblading is not for individuals with keloids.
Health conditions: If you have any autoimmune condition, trombophilia, epilepsy microblading is not for you. If you have diabetes it needs to be under control.
Medications: NOT for individuals taking BLOOD THINNERS, individuals under cortisone treatment. Please avoid aspirin 5 days before your appointment.
Facial treatments: If you had any harsh facial treatment such as chemical peeling, microdermabrasion, laser etc. you need to wait 30 days. For botox you need to wait at least 3 weeks before or 3 weeks after.
Skin types: Microblading has better results on normal or dry skin but it can be performed on oily and combination skin. Microblading on oily skin will last less time that on dry skin, but the procedure is very possible. I always give my clients a time period of 6 to 18 months for a touch up.
